Dan D. Staples
Dan worked for the Union Pacific in many capacities starting in 1969. He first worked as a laborer, then in the car department, and in 1976, he transferred to engine service where he worked continuously until he suffered an on-duty injury. He has been a member of the UTU-E since 1977 and actively involved in union affairs and activities since 1989.
Dan and his wife, Ann Stevens, have been married since 1979. Together they have four children and three grandchildren.
