Wayne worked as a brakeman for the Southern Pacific Railroad. Wayne held various Union positions throughout his career and retired as Local Chairman of Local 1846 in West Colton, California, just short of 40 years of railroad service. Wayne and his wife, Vicky, have four children and seven grandchildren. Wayne enjoys golf, hunting and getting out and about in his RV. Wayne works in southern California and Arizona.
